redict the next one, lots of mathematics come into play. I really liked how all these components are shown within one picture and his colour selection lends itself very well as they are complementary colours as well as colours that are very strong however not too distracting.

Because I loved this piece so much , I then went on to look at his other pieces and discovered that Gary Embury really likes to play with layers and uses them as a notion of movement and dimension in a room. These elements, especially in reportage art is very crucial as nothing around us is stationary, they are always moving, changing and adapting. Therefore it was very interesting to see how Gary Embury uses these techniques to show just that. Another aspect that I am really inspired by was the subtle hint of life in the interiors he documents and how even without a figure within the piece, he was still able to convey that someone was there and using the space - as if he interior was the character itself.
